An evening where innovation and conviviality will meet, where the future will be discussed while enjoying snacks, drinks and laptops and where the joint Brainpower of Beround and its ecosystem come together for an unforgettable informal AI brainstorming session.

On Thursday, February 15, the first AI Pizza session organized by Beround and Digitally Human took place in The Hub Schiphol-Rijk. A #happytoshare event that attracted interested participants from both inside and outside Beround. Beround’s Strategic Advisor Simone de Rie hosted the reception and introduced the evening, making even the most reluctant participants enthusiastic and curious about the theme and the further course of the evening.

Contrary to what the name would suggest, no pizzas were eaten, instead David had prepared an excellent Indian buffet which was thoroughly enjoyed.

While participants dined, they were invited to engage in conversation about the different layers and connections between AI and human existence, prompted by cards with AI-related questions scattered across the tables.

After the meal, Beround’s CTO, Bas Nab, gave a clear and engaging presentation on how AI is already integrated into everyday life and Beround’s involvement in this area.

The participants then divided into groups to discuss various AI-related topics.

Feedback at the end of the evening was positive and enthusiastic, with participants describing the experience as “liberating and thought-provoking”, particularly due to the diversity of organizations represented among participants and the different approach routes.
