The Beround AI reunion day 2025!

Yesterday was the Beround AI reunion day: a special evening for alumni of our training programs to learn even more about AI, attend case studies, and connect with each other. The evening focused on concrete cases, experiences, and future prospects.

The first speaker, Ronald Put, demonstrated how ING uses AI for developers. How this can be safe, inclusive, and scalable within these (and other) large organizations. He suggested that AI is only truly lean, usable, and prompt in the right context.

Sammy Does, external accountant at De Hooge Waerder, followed. She discussed the role of AI in accounting and how the Beround AI Foundations and Leadership Practitioner training helped her implement AI within the organization. Her presentation clearly demonstrates that AI supports, not replaces, the accountant.

Finally, Tim Vaessen, data-driven manager at Badminton Nederland, shared how the federation uses AI to better understand how members move within the sport. He outlined a future in which AI helps with performance analysis, membership development, and communication with clubs. His call: use AI to make sports leaner and more fun.

The presentations were followed by a joint dinner with various activities, including a table tennis tournament and the “Fastest Lap Challenge” on our Race Simulator, as well as an AI holiday workshop led by Max.

After dinner, our in-house trainers, Bas and Simone, walked us through a workflow for automatically replying and categorizing emails within Copilot.

On behalf of Beround, we would like to thank all the speakers and attendees for their contributions, and we hope to welcome everyone back next year!
