We are currently looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer.
In this role you will be responsible for setting up, developing and maintaining test automation for our clients. You work together with test engineers, think about the best approach and help organizations to further professionalize their test processes. You will get the freedom to use your knowledge and experience to the fullest and build on it.
The role of Test Automation Engineer at Beround is unique because of the warm contacts and partnerships we maintain with clients. As a result, you don’t just come to do an assignment, but are a full part of the client’s team. From executive tasks to strategic level. In both national and international contexts. Together we make sure that you land an assignment that suits you.
In addition, you have experience, or interest in generative artificial intelligence. We develop products and provide training to make technology understandable, applicable and people-oriented for organizations and professionals. As a Test Automation Engineer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to this. Experience with AI is a plus, but interest and willingness to learn are more important to us.
What you will do:
Develop, implement and maintain test automation.
Collaborate with test engineers to build and improve automated test scripts.
Advise clients on the design and optimization of test automation.
Set up and professionalize automated testing processes.
Working with our team to modify and extend existing in-house frameworks.

We think you will come into your own in this role if you are…
A completed college or university education.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the testing field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience as a Test Automation Engineer.
Experience with one or more test automation tools such as Selenium, FitNesse, Cucumber, Protractor, Cypress, TestCafe, Postman or SoapUI.
Experience with object-oriented programming (e.g. Java, Typescript, C# or Python).
Experience with or interest in GenAI
Good communication skills in Dutch and English.
Enterprising and motivated to continuously improve yourself and our services.
